Subject: Donate Used Prosthesis

I would like to know if there is an organization that accepts used breast prostheses. I have one that is in very good condition and is a good brand of prosthesis. I'm sure there are some women out there that are unable to afford a good one. Do you know of any such place to donate?

Answer:

I do not know of a specific organization. However, contact your local cancer society and ask them to connect you with their breast cancer support group. Or contact the store where you bought your prosthesis and see if they offer a consignment or goodwill service.
