Subject: Problem Finding Correct Bra Size
I wore an Olga Style 319 minimizer bra, size 32D, until Olga discontinued the size. Now I can't find a satisfactory bra. I'm not looking for sexy. I'm looking for support and all the major companies start bra bands at 34. I've ordered and returned half a dozen bras from online sources in "32D" that were totally unsatisfactory. I've tried a 34C and 34D in the Olga style I like, and neither were satisfactory. In fact, the bra fitters at Marshall Fields, where I tried the 34C and 34D, confirmed I need the 32D.
Any suggestions on how to get the manufacturer to start making the 32D again, or at least fill special orders?
Answer:
Sounds like you’re having a real go of it. Although I have not tried this myself (I stopped wearing a bra a couple of years ago,) I’m told that having a bra made by a professional bra maker is the solution for women like you. As far as getting manufacturers to start making your size, sending letters and making calls of complaint may help.
