I am a breast cancer survivor who has found it very difficult to find mastectomy products. While websites such as yours have helped me find some products on line, I can't help but believe that it should be a lot simpler for breast cancer survivors to find the products they need.

I'm currently researching the viability of opening a post-mastectomy/lumpectomy supply store and I need some statistics for my business plan and application for a vendors permit. Do you know of a source/website where I could find breast cancer incidence and chosen treatment statistics region by region?

Answer:

Depending on your region, you should be able to find cancer stats from the Canadian and American Cancer Associations online. Or visit an office in your city. As well, Health Canada and the National Cancer Institute in the U.S. will have information.
