Breast Cancer Project

I am doing a project on how women feel stigmatized by their breast cancer experiences. Do you have any relevant information you could send me? My mum had a breast cancer 2 years ago along with having skin cancer 12 years ago and she has truly inspired me to write my project in sociology how women feel different within themselves. I really want to raise awareness with this paper.

I recommend you go to The Canadian Breast Cancer Network web site http://www.cbcn.ca. They collect information about women's experience and may be able to help you. As well, check Breast Cancer Support Groups in your state or province. They may have different names but they are designed to help women with their thoughts and feelings associated with the disease.
