Patterns for Mastectomy Bras
I am writing for my sister-in-law who has recently had a mastectomy due to breast cancer. We were wondering if there is a pattern available so she can make her own bras as they are very expensive to purchase. She is a pensioner and on a limited income.

I checked with a couple of mastectomy bra shops and, according to them, there is no pattern for a mastectomy bra available for the general public. If you have a fabric store in your area, I would check in with them and see if traditional pattern makers have anything available. You might be able to get a local seamstress to figure out a simple way of manipulating a traditional bra, too.
