Young Women & Breast Cancer

Nearly a quarter million women under 40 in the U.S. are currently living with breast cancer.

Young women living with breast cancer have different support needs due to their stage of life. They may be single, newly married, on the cusp of a promising career, young moms, single moms or newly divorced or separated. Finding a group may prove challenging depending on your geographic location as young women with breast cancer have just started gaining the attention of the larger population. However, it only takes two people to provide support. Starting small can still be very powerful.

  • In Canada you can contact the newly formed The Young and The Breastless.

  • In the U.S.A. you can contact the Young Survival Coalition.

  • Both can be found by typing them into your search engine.
