Diving (literally) into Breast Cancer Support

In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month I've decided to feature unique ways in which others have been raising money for breast cancer. Each and every week, throughout the month of October, I will highlight a unique fundraising effort in the hopes of motivating others to do their part.


This week's breast cancer fundraiser had me on the edge of my seat. It consisted of 100+ brave women who literally jumped out of airplanes to raise money for the pink cause…now how's that for dedication? Participants in "Jump for the Cause" raised almost $500,000 for the City Hope Cancer Center's research programs and set a skydiving record when they dove in formation at the Perry Valley Skydiving Center, out of Perris California yesterday.
