Get in the Pink!

Ask 3-time breast cancer survivor and counselor Kayne Cunningham and she'll tell you that during the month of October pink is the new black! As folks wrap their heads around the topic of breast health, they can wrap themselves in an array of pink products sold in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Just last year an array of pink rose over $30-million dollars in support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This October the number of pink fundraising items continues to grow, including goodies like:

The Pink Coach Watch ($298) – For every watch sold Coach will donate $100 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Pink Designer Scarves - Wrap your neck in Burberry pink wool and cashmere luxury ($195) or divine Lily Pulitzer silk ($35). Burberry has agreed to donate 30% of scarf proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation; while Ford Motor Co. will donate $30 from each Pulitzer scarf sale to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Pink Ribbon T ($15) - There's no reason not to wear pink to the gym. Each Lady Foot Locker shirt sale means $5 to the American Cancer Society.

Think Pink Moc Croc-Tail Shaker ($20) – During the month of October manufacturer Red Envelope will donate 10% of pink sales to City of Hope's Breast Cancer Research, Treatment and Education.

This coming October, go ahead and strut your pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
