The Breast Blog: How to Become a Breast Health Ambassador - Chapter Two / Sunday Calm
We had a wild, horizontal, driving snow storm here yesterday. Brutal cold, terrible driving conditions, bone freezing wind. And yet, 800 people still made there way to the Tsunami Relief Concert at our River Run Performing Arts Centre. A multi-act concert of brilliantly talented Guelph performers warmed the room of our generous community. Thousands of dollars was raised for UNICEF.
I sat and let the music waft over me. I felt completely captivated. Present. Fixed in my place and my body. And I could feel my tank of gratitude filling up. Live music is very good health tonic on a cold January night. It warms from the inside out and the outside in. Try some whenever you need a pick-me-up or if you need help being in the moment.
